Bishop Willard R. Johnson, Jr.
This anointed preacher, teacher, pastor and author of the book entitled "God's Classroom-Discovering Your Purpose" with the apostolic and prophetic anointing was born in the inner city of Washington, DC. He attended DC Public Schools and graduated from H.D. Woodson High School. He received Christ at the age of 17 and joined Whosoever Will Church of God and was nurtured by the pastor and men of the church. While at Whosoever Will Church of God, Bishop Johnson was the pianist for the mass and young adult choirs. He served on the trustee board as the assistant financial secretary and was called into the ministry and ordained in 1985. Bishop Johnson later joined St. James Restoration Apostle Church of Christ in God in 1996 where he served as elder and youth minister.
In 1998, Bishop Johnson accepted his calling to the pastorate and was consecrated on October 4, 1998. He is the founder and senior pastor of Precious Cornerstone Gospel Church, Inc. He is a pastor that preaches and teaches with integrity and compassion. He desires to reach those and build the lives of those who have been hurt and bruised. To minister with patience and conviction the unadulterated word of truth.
In 2003, he was elevated and consecrated to the Bishopric as a Bishop of the State of MD by the Convention of Covenanting Churches in Which Apostle Napoleon Rhodes serves as Presiding Prelate. He has also served as the First Vice Bishop of the Church of Holiness in Christ in which Apostle L.J. Beato serves as Presiding Chief Prelate from 2011-2014. He also served as the Vice President of Anointed Hope Connection Inc. form 2011-2014. Bishop Johnson is the author of the book "God's Classroom-Discovering Our Life Purpose."
Bishop Johnson served as a police officer of the DC Metropolitan Police Department for eleven years. He was assigned to the 3 districts. While assigned to the 3rd District, he served as the Religious Liaison Officer bridging the gap between the police district and the local churches. At work, the Lord used Bishop Johnson to minister to many amid their crime and wrongdoing. As a result, many of them came to Christ. He is married to Pastor/First Lady Monique D. Johnson and the two are blessed with 4 children: Derrell, Alexis, Josiah and Tobias, and one grandson Prince Jaiden.
